The Centenary Festival, 2017: programme, and how to book

 

The Charles Causley Centenary Festival’s programme for June 2017 is taking shape! In addition to the headline attraction event to open the main Festival weekend of 1st-5th June (The Fisherman’s Friends), here are some of the events we currently expect to feature this year:

MUSIC AND POETRY

The Fisherman’s Friends; Jim Causley; Murray Lachlan Young; Poetry in the Ruins; Duende and Keith James at No. 8; Tin, at the Bell Inn; and, an organ recital at St. Mary’s

THEATRE AND FILM PERFORMANCES

Kneehigh Theatre Co.; Access Theatre; FLIC film: Miracle Theatre’s ‘Tin’; and, ‘The Man in the Orange Shirt’

READINGS, TALKS AND DISCUSSIONS

BOOKING YOUR TICKETS

Tickets are (or, in some cases, soon will be: do check back later, if need be!) available to buy online, by telephone and in person :

  *  order online  — just follow the links that will appear with each individual event to buy your tickets from the Cornish Riviera Box Office system, which will then be downloadable on your phone or computer;

*  or, you can purchase them from Launceston Tourist Information Centre, White Hart Arcade, Broad Street, Launceston, PL15 8AA. Tickets will be bookable from the TIC in person, by phone or online. They can be posted (at cost) if time allows, or alternatively they will be held at the TIC for collection. The Launceston TIC’s usual opening hours are: Mon. to Fri. 9am-5pm, and Sat. 10am-4pm.   *  or, ‘on the door’: subject to availability, tickets may also be sold on the door at the event venues.


Please note: some free events still need to be booked in the above ways, in order to reserve a place.
